Malfunction/Damage
Malfunction
If you find the laptop is not working and restarting the machine has not helped, patrons can exchange the laptop for a functional one. See the Exchanges section for more information.
Damage
If the laptop is damaged, contact the Tech Lending Specialist via email at meggganl@uga.edu as soon as possible. Depending on the reason for the damages, the patron may be eligible to exchange the laptop for a new one.
Depending on the type/severity of damage, the patron may be held responsible for the damage and unable to participate in the program in subsequent semesters.
Patrons will not be penalized for regular wear and tear which does not affect the functionality of the laptop.
