If you find the laptop is not working and restarting the machine has not helped, you can report the malfunction by emailing the Tech Lending Specialist at, and we’ll schedule an exchange your laptop for a functional one. See the Exchanges section for more information.


If the laptop is damaged, contact the Tech Lending Specialist via email at as soon as possible. Depending on the reason for the damages, you may be eligible to exchange the laptop for a new one.

Depending on the type/severity of damage, you may be held responsible for the damage and unable to participate in the program in subsequent semesters.

You will not be penalized for regular wear and tear which does not affect the functionality of the laptop.
