Instruction Requests

Our instructional approach focuses on the competencies required to succeed in an academic research environment and the broader complex information ecosystem. Our goal is to integrate information and other literacies (digital, data, and AI) into the UGA curriculum in a sustainable and scalable manner. To support this approach, we aim to:

  • Collaborate with instructors to embed and scaffold in-person and online information literacy instruction into classes, eLC, and other learning environments.
  • Create tutorials, videos, guides, and other learning objects that will provide multi-model support for students.
  • Consult with instructors to craft engaging research assignments that promote research skills, critical thinking, and the critical appraisal of sources. As part of this, we offer "teach the teacher” consultations for instructors who want to provide their own library-related instruction.
