UGA faculty will receive regular updates from UGA Libraries in their inbox, with the launch of a new Faculty Newsletter.
The first edition of the newsletter launched on Oct. 10th, includes information on how the library can help faculty with their instruction and research needs.
“We’re so excited to launch a newsletter which will help ensure that faculty across campus are aware of the many services and resources available to them through the library,” said Sara Wright, associate university librarian for learning services and academic engagement. “The library is eager to help faculty whether it be collaborating on information literacy instruction, assisting with research data management planning, or support with course reserves. This type of regular communication will – I hope - help in connecting faculty to those services.”
The first e-newsletter includes information on AI literacy and upcoming Open Access Week workshops, opportunities to apply for the Special Collections Fellows program and the Affordable Materials Grant, as well as an introduction to the new director of the Center for Research and Education at Wormsloe.
