Science and MLC Closing Early Monday Night
Due to the weather, the Science Library and the Miller Learning Center will both be closing at 2:00 a.m. tonight (technically, Tuesday morning). They will reopen at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday.

Bring your own Mac if you have one. Some Macs will be available in the classroom.
DSLRs for Beginners
Thurs., Nov. 7 @ 2:30 p.m.

Learn the basics of aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. Show or stop motion. Get good pictures in low or bright light. Keep your scene crystal clear or strategically blur the fore- and background.
Bring your own DSLR camera if you have one. Some will be available for demonstration.

Starting August 20, meet with a librarian Monday - Friday (M-Th, 1-4; F 1-3) in MLC 301. Drop in or make an appointment online. Librarians can help with:
- Choosing a research topic
- Finding good sources for your research
- Citing sources

MLC Network Down 1/15 10-11 p.m.
The Miller Learning Center network will be down Thursday, January 15, from 10-11 p.m. There will be no internet access or technology lending during this time. (You can, however, return checked out equipment.)
MLC Reopens Tuesday at Noon
emergency news: The MLC is open Monday September 11th until 10pm, and will reopen on Tuesday September 12th at Noon. Unless there is a change in the weather, we anticipate that normal hours (open 24 hours) will resume at that point.
