Don't navigate your grief alone! Join us on September 24 from 1-3:00PM in the MLC Makerspace to create an original keepsake in memory of a loved one you've lost. Bring a photo of a loved one or letter with their handwriting and we will help you build a piece for your personal archive through button making, collaging, and laser cutting. Whether you want to share about your loss or simply create amongst others, this program is here to help you navigate grief through creativity.

This year we have the honor of welcoming Samuel and Dan Habib as our keynote speakers. These award-winning film makers are known for films on disability-related topics including Intelligent Lives, Including Samuel, and My Disability Roadmap.

The Library 101 for Graduate Students is designed as an introduction or refresher to UGA Libraries services and resources. In this workshop learn how to:

• use our research guides and tutorials
• engage with our spaces and technology, and
• get help and support when you need it.

This collaborative workshop between UGA Libraries and the Career Center will empower you to navigate today's competitive job market with confidence. You'll master essential application materials—from compelling cover letters and standout resumes to polished LinkedIn profiles and strategic interview questions. 

Walk-in research data consultations are back! Bring your research data or digital scholarship projects, and ask the RCDM team about text and data analysis, GIS mapping, and data visualization tips and tools -- including R, Python, Excel, ArcGIS, QGIS, and ggplot2.

Curious about turning your data into engaging graphs? This workshop will introduce you to Python and popular visualization tools like Matplotlib and Seaborn. You’ll learn how to load datasets, create charts, and customize your visuals - no prior coding experience needed.
