As part of the Spotlight on the Arts Festival, the University of Georgia Press will host the UGA Press Dirty Book Sale for the campus and the community on the Main Library's front lawn on November 16-18, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. We're clearing out a few years of overstock from our offices and will have a wide variety of new and backlist titles available for purchase at a special Spotlight discount of 70% off.

A hands-on introduction to data processing and analysis in Microsoft Excel. Topics covered will include basic mathematical calculations, counting cells, manipulating text, if-then statements, conditional formatting, and PivotTables. By the end of the workshop, students will have experience using both Excel’s point-and-click features and its formulas and functions to explore, transform, and summarize their data.
