Every March, the Institute for Women's Studies coordinates and co-sponsors lectures, films, discussion panels, art exhibits, and more for Women’s History Month as well as publishes a poster highlighting those events. The keynote speech is the culminating event of Women's History month, and features Dr. Kellie Carter Jackson, a nationally known historian, speaker and educator on the month's theme of "Women who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion."

 

This lecture is sponsored by the Lucy Hargrett Draper Center and Archives for the Study of the Rights of Women in History and Law.
