Cataloging

The University of Georgia Libraries' Cataloging Department is responsible for the cataloging, classification, and subject analysis of materials in all formats and languages which the Libraries acquire.

The Department participates in CONSER, NACO, and SACO and the OCLC Member Merge Program. Our staff annually catalogs over 40,000 titles.

The Department has five sections: Monographs Cataloging, Integrated Library System Management, Music Cataloging, Serials Cataloging, and Special Collections Cataloging. To learn more about any of these sections or for section-specific contact information, please refer to the About Us section.
