Join the Department of Textiles, Merchandising, and Interiors on Thursday, April 14th from 5:00-6:30 p.m.for this virtual panel that highlights Black and Indigenous voices in the sustainable fashion industry.The panel will feature writer and research Teju Adisa-Farrar, fashion designer Korina Emmerich, and environmental educator Dominique Drakeford.
Over the course of 6 weeks, 8 students have developed unique and engaging tour stops as part of the Special Collections Student Docent Program. Join us at UGA Special Collections to explore the galleries with our newest tour guides! This tour is free and open to the public. Update: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Congressman Kinzinger will be unable to join us in-person for our upcoming Congress Week 2022 conversation. Instead, he will engage in a virtual conversation with attendees present at the Special Collections Libraries. Attendees present will still have the opportunity to hear directly from Congressman Kinzinger on the issues of the day live and to ask him questions. The lunch reception will still be provided following the event.
