- Wendi Gosliner - Project Scientist, Nutrition Policy Institute - University of California
- She has conducted multiple studies on the National School Lunch Program, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and other similar programs and frequently teaches a course at UC Berkeley about food programs and policies.
- Susan B. Levine - Professor Emeritus, University of Illinois-Chicago
- She is the author of School Lunch Politics: The Surprising History of America's Favorite Welfare Program (Princeton University Press, 2008).
- Andrew R. Ruis - Associate Director for Research, Epistemic Analytics - University of Wisconsin-Madison
- He is the author of Eating to Learn, Learning to Eat: The Origins of School Lunch in the United States (Rutgers University Press, 2017), as well as numerous articles on the history of food, nutrition, and health.
