Introduction to RefWorks

Learn how to use RefWorks, an incredibly helpful citation management software for researchers and writers provided by the UGA Libraries. RefWorks allows you to save citations from databases, organize them, attach PDFs, and then format and insert the citations into Word or Google Documents in one of 15,000 different citation styles.

Tour, A Chance to Play: Title IX and Women's Athletics at UGA

Join curator Jason Hasty for a closer look at the new exhibit "A Chance to Play: Title IX and Women's Athletics at UGA" at 3:00 p.m. on the Friday before each home football game during the Fall 2022 season. Meet in the Rotunda Gallery of the UGA Special Collections Building. Free parking for off-campus visitors is available in the Hull Street Parking Deck. For more information email hasty@uga.edu

Exhibit, A Chance to Play: Title IX and Women's Athletics at UGA

This exhibit explores the origins of women’s athletics on the University of Georgia campus from their origins in the 1920s through the passage of Title IX in 1972. The display celebrates some of UGA’s most accomplished student-athletes and coaches who have helped to set a standard of excellence in women’s athletics.

Greg Bluestein is a political reporter and author who covers the governor's office and Georgia politics for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He writes for the front-page of the AJC, contributes to the Political Insider blog and morning Jolt newsletter, hosts the Politically Georgia podcast and is a frequent guest on local and national TV and radio programs. He's an MSNBC and NBC News contributor and the author of Flipped, a book on Georgia's epic 2020 election.

Georgia Writers Hall of Fame: Sue Monk Kidd

Join the Hargrett Library for the induction of Sue Monk Kidd into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame on Thursday, September 8th at 6:00 p.m. in room 271 of the UGA Special Collections Building.
