Come see long-time Georgia resident Jeannette Rankin, the first woman in Congress, as she finishes her first term in office. During that term, Jeannette Rankin brought forward the legislation that ultimately became the 19th Amendment giving women the vote. Scholar and historic interpreter Mary Jane Bradbury draws on over 25 years as an educator, actress, and author to bring history to life. She is a Chautauqua speaker for Humanities Montana and the Colorado Humanities, and has been an Artist in Residence for the Charles M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, MT, and the Montana Historical Society.
