General Information

The Russell Library’s permanent exhibition galleries are located in the Richard B. Russell Building, Special Collections Libraries. Showcasing some of the most historically significant items from the collections, these galleries offer a rare glimpse into Georgia’s political past.

The Russell Library develops exhibits that engage visitors in a dynamic dialogue with Georgia’s past, present, and future. Visitors explore the library’s rotating, topical exhibits, view a replica of Senator Richard B. Russell’s office, listen and view historical audiovisual material and oral histories, and discover faces, new and familiar, from Georgia’s past in Art Rosenbaum’s mural “Doors.” Please note that featured exhibits change regularly so be sure to visit often!

Admission to the Russell Library galleries is free and open to the public.
